Association News: In January,2019, professor Zhang Chongzhi from HAECR was invited to attend a side event on Food Security and Consumer Confidence in Developing Countries in Palais des Nations, Geneva, Swtzerland.; In December,2018, professor Zhang Chongzhi from HAECR conducted a survey at Gongxian Miao Society and visited a local hmong clothing store.; In April, 2015, professor Zhang Chongzhi from HAECR was invited to attend a workshop in Saint Paul, MN,USA, which was organized by HND and professor Zhang gave a lecture on Comparative Studies of Hmong Clothing in Hainan and in the USA.; Miao Girls living in Qiongzhong County, Hainan Island of China are dancing a traditional Miao dance.; Li girls & boys in Baoting, Hainan island of China are dancing a Li traditional dance called Bamboo Dance， which is very popular among the local Li and Miao girls and boys.

International exchange: In February,2018, professor Zhang Chongzhi from HAECR was invited by ISHR to attend a welcome reception for the new president of Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland.; In April,2015, professor Zhang Chongzhi from HAECR was invited to attend Hmong National Conference in MN , which was organized by HND.; In April 2015, professor Zhang Chongzhi from HAECR was invited to attend the HND conference held in Saint Paul,MN, USA.; In April 2017, professor Zhang Chongzhi from HAECR visited Hmong community school of excellence in Saint Paul, MN and had a discussion on student exchange with the school principal , Lady Kouaza.; In December 2016, professor Zhang Chongzhi from HAECR was invited to attend the Third International Hmong Conference held in Thailand, which was organized by Ethnic Studies Center, Chiang Mai University.
